I am ashamed that us - girls, ladies and women are so timid; to rather keep mum than to speak our minds, to be both hesitant and insecure of our wonderful thoughts and values one which the world disowned because we allowed them to. I am also ashamed

of how we portray ourselves; that we are not more than what they see in the surface. We are nothing but a display of affection to satisfy the emptiness and lust of other people, that we are deliberately alright to be treated as a second option, stitch others holes, convince ourselves that we are happy when we are but another wonderer, kneel down for forgiveness when we owe no apology to begin with.
I am ashamed.
